Each live dataset lists its publisher, licence, current source and checksum. OpenStreetMap-derived layers also include the exact transformation program used to create the searchable data. Official registers are stored with their source release. Missing postcodes remain blank, never inferred. Number ranges remain as mapped.

To reproduce the complete normalized dataset, download the source above and the transformation program (also ODbL 1.0 for this purpose). With Python 3, pyosmium and osmium-tool installed, place both in one directory and run:

This produces addresses.jsonl.gz containing the entire address layer, and a manifest of checksums and counts. No additional private data is used in this transformation. Each record retains its OSM object identity. OGL geography and inferred identifier links remain separate.
The separate OpenStreetMap amenity layer contains 425,985 mapped objects, including post offices and postal partners, pharmacies, cafés, restaurants, pubs, banks and a wider range of mapped shops, including convenience stores, bakeries, clothing shops and hairdressers. Coverage is incomplete and opening status is not verified. Relations without coordinates are excluded. Building/site centres are approximate. Nearby search uses distance from a named place or postcode centre, not administrative containment.
